About the role:
Well-established, exciting and growing property management/real estate related company seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial records, managing accounting functions, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. This position offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic work environment.
Experience: 5+ years in accounting, particularly in General Ledger (G/L) functions
Core Skills:
- Strong understanding of monthly closing processes
- Proficient in account reconciliations
- Expertise in General Ledger management
- Strong skills in Excel (Advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Experience with NetSuite ERP software (this is a must-have for this role)
Industry Experience:
Experience in HOA, Property Management, Real Estate ++
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing month-end close processes
- Ensuring accurate general ledger maintenance
- Performing reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Generating financial reports for management
- Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000
- Possibly working with HOA financial reporting if applicable to the company's operations.
