Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Property Accounting with the monthly closing process and complete necessary journal entries
• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations and lead financial statement preparation for all properties
• Support compliance and investor reporting, including debt and REO schedules
• Process tenant payments and handle monthly bank reconciliations
• Collaborate with Property Managers to prepare and review budgets and manage cash flow
• Assist with property audits, tax return requests, and ad hoc projects to drive strategic decision-making
• Provide leadership and support to inspire exceptional team performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, with property accounting or commercial real estate experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with Yardi Software Systems (or equivalent)
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• CPA certification is a plus
