Senior Accountant - SIXTEEN BRICKS

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Financial Reporting: 

• Manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting. 

1. General Ledger Management: 

• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger. 

• Assist with account reconciliations & journal entries. 

1. Budgeting & Forecasting: 

• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. 

1. Internal Controls: 

• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures. 

• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. 

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable: 

• Manageaccounts payable and accounts receivable functions. 

• Ensure timely processing of invoices and collections. 

1. Payroll: 

• Review and approve all payroll processing. 

1. Tax Compliance: 

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. 

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits. 

1. Team Leadership & Development: 

• Provide training and support to ensure the professional growth and development of team members. 

1. Process Improvement: 

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions. 

• Streamline accounting operations to increase efficiency. 

1. Other Duties As Assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA certification preferred. 

• Experience: Minimum of 7years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. 

• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. 

• Knowledge: Proficiency in QuickBooksand Microsoft Excel. 

• Attributes: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, strong organizational skills.
