Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting.
• Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper financial controls and compliance with healthcare-specific regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings, audits, and other regulatory submissions.
• Support strategic financial planning initiatives and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to ensure professional growth and departmental efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare finance regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex financial scenarios.
