Senior Accountant - Strategic Employment

A stable (110 years and going) building materials company in Boston is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant who is excited to embrace innovative strategies and modernize their accounting department under the direction of their new VP of Finance. We are looking for an analytical mind, someone who can participate in month end close, but is also excited by the opportunity to review data and reports to help the company make smart decisions moving forward.

Must Have Skills

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related degree
• 5+ years of accounting experience 
• Contributes to all parts of the accounting lifecycle and month end close

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with variance analysis and other reporting
• Experience using Sage
