Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Managing all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Assisting with financial reporting, preparing detailed revenue and expense reports, and balance sheets.
- Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting periodic audits.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
- Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations.
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
- Participating in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
