Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Medical industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, managing financial reporting, and providing support to the finance team. This is a permanent position with excellent growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Ensure revenue recognition is in compliance with company policies and GAAP
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial reports
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Provide support to internal and external auditors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the Medical industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
