About the Job
The Senior Staff Accountant in the Corporate Accounting team will be responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet and operating statement accounts with high risk, accounting for intercompany transactions and liaise with counterparties, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting the overall operations of the Accounting department where necessary.

- Perform complex balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis for accounts with high risk, including preparing journal entries
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and year end close responsibilities which entails, but is not limited to, review of assigned business areas and make necessary accounting entries, investigate and report on variances.
- Document all existing accounting procedures and processes based on thorough understanding of areas; Recommend and assist in process improvements and implementation
- Assist field and corporate colleagues with inquiries related to responsible areas, external audit requests, and special projects
- Prepare analytics and/or models to better understand business results; work closely with the Finance Planning team to understand budgets and forecast and the related variances
- Assist with financial reporting to parent company.
What you need to bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, required
- CPA license or CPA track, preferred
- 3-5 years of public / industry experience
- Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, required
- Experience with JD Edwards, Peoplesoft, Tagetik and/or Hyperion, preferred
- Must be a team player with ability to maintain a positive attitude in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
- Must have strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
