GREAT PLAINS experience is a must.
· Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO and President and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
· Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
· Manage and update reliable cash flow projections and reporting to CEO and President.
· Provide input into the organization's insurance programs and any potential real estate affairs as they relate to leases and sub-leases and contract negotiations.
· Oversee the preparation of month-end, quarter end and year-end financial statements.
· Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and manage preparation and support of all external audits.
· Contribute as a key relationship manager for external financial institutions and advisors.
· Manage day-to-day corporate accounting functions for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, and annual audits and annual budgets.
· Manage day-to-day corporate accounts payable and disbursements, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing and total corporate payroll tax compliance.
· Manage day-to-day corporate accounts receivable and receipts to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc.; quarter and year-end payroll closing including federal and state reports; and check statistic management.
· Interface with external CPA/Accounting to ensure corporate tax compliance and to assure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns taking full advantage of all favorable tax codes.
Skills and Abilities Required
· Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking working knowledge.
· Computer (hardware and software) literacy.
· Highly proficient especially in Excel software.
· Contractual negotiation a plus.
· Strong managerial and leadership abilities.
GREAT PLAINS experience is a must.
Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance at an accredited college or university. CPA and/or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus. Must have 7+ years of managerial accounting experience. Working knowledge/expertise of Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains accounting Software and ADP Workforce Payroll system is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $61,155.00 - $70,000.00 per year
