Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant/Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the monthly close and reporting of properties within our hospitality portfolio. Your responsibilities will include partnering with the property controller and management teams to ensure timely and accurate financial statements, as well as assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the property controller and property management teams to ensure the monthly close process is efficient and accurate.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal and external reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP methodology and company policies.
- Work closely with the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Asset Management to provide valuable insights and support for portfolio financial statements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and other reporting needs, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports, supporting audits and decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of experience in the hotel/hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification is highly desirable.
