**Position Summary**
As a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the monthly close and reporting of properties in our Hospitality portfolio. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you'll ensure accurate financial statements, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and provide valuable analysis to support strategic decision-making.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with the Property Controller and property management teams to ensure the timely and accurate close and reporting of properties.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP methodology and company policies in the preparation of financial statements.
- Collaborate with the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Asset Management to prepare and analyze portfolio financial statements for internal and external reporting.
- Assist in month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and other reporting needs, providing vital support to the organization.
- Prepare financial reports, conduct analysis, and contribute to audits and decision-making processes.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification is a plus.
