About the Job

We are working with a top-tier financial services company that is looking for an Accountant who will also have some Financial Analyst duties. Ideal candidates will have some type of understanding and experience working under an IFRS based accounting system and will have strong hands-on experience with I.T. systems, process improvement, and automation within financial accounting systems.

Salary range for this newly created opening with be 100k to 115k and they offer an excellent benefits and retirement package along with a 10% bonus. Experience with systems like SAP, Cognos, and PowerBI would be great. Hands-on exposure and experience with the SAP FICO modules would be ideal but not required. This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in office and 3 days remote.

There will be a heavy focus on general ledger work and there will also be duties related to analysis and reporting. There will be interaction with other departments to discuss variances, root cause, decision making, and budget impact. Any experience with US GAAP and Statutory regulations and standards would be beneficial as well.
