As our Senior Accountant, you will be an essential part of our dynamic finance team, taking ownership of key financial operations that directly impact our organization’s success. You’ll manage complex financial records, prepare detailed financial statements, and provide in-depth financial analysis to guide critical business decisions. The Ideal Senior Accountant Candidate
7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-entity environment
CPA certification or additional relevant certifications (e.g., CMA, CGMA) is required
Master’s degree in accounting or MBA strongly preferred
Prepares, maintains, and presents full financial reporting package including Balance Sheet and Income Statement
Maintains accurate financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded
Prepares detailed Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, including narrative explanations
Prepares and analyzes Operating Expense (Op Ex) reports
Generates and analyzes Cash Flow Statements
Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenue and expenses
Conducts financial and variance analysis to support decision-making processes
Participates in budgeting and forecasting activities, with a focus on entity-level projections
Ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements
Identifies opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures
Participates in special projects as assigned, such as system implementations or financial process redesigns
Assists in ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management
Explains complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
Guides or reviews the work of junior accounting staff
