The role will be responsible for daily accounting procedures, focusing on areas such as inventory, fixed assets, and leases. Individual will support operations, perform reconciliations and roll-forwards, and provide management with related analyses and establish expertise in selected areas. Opportunities will arise for special projects that drive efficiency and consistency across the business. This individual will work with others within the corporate accounting department as well as with employees from multiple other departments, including branches (operations management and warehouse teams), financial IT systems, financial planning and analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and internal audit.

Responsibilities:You will:
- Maintain, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
- Prepare timely and accurate month-end accounting close and associated tasks.
- Assist in preparing internal management review packages and effectively communicate risks and results.
- Seek opportunities to streamline and improve accounting transactions and work with the business to provide accounting and analytical support to meet internal needs.
- Assist with external audit deliverables, technical accounting, and other ad hoc accounting projects.
- Assist with the finance integration of new acquisitions, including process implementation, alignment, and monitoring.
You have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- 3-4 years + experience.
- Operations accounting experience with a multi-location distribution or manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- Self-starter able to work in fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to details and a desire to assume new responsibilities.
- Organizational skills with the ability to maneuver through ambiguous situations.
