Senior Accountant/ Accounting Manager

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager

• Full cycle financial responsibility for a group of operating companies working closely with the Controller
• General accounting - preparation of financial statements, monthly financial packages and monthly financial analysis for entities
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets
• Responsible for reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
• Collect rent and process accounts payable for property management clients including all related entries.
• Prepare billing statements monthly for property management customers
• Prepare bi-weekly payroll for approximately 20 employees using Timberline
• Provide external customers with monthly statements
• Work closely with external auditors in preparing information for the annual review of four entities.
• Prepare sales tax returns, quarterly and annual property tax returns, and assist the controller with other tax related activities
• Ad-hoc projects as requested by senior management.

Requirements of the Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager

• BS Accounting, Public Accounting experience a plus
• Solid MS Excel skills (pivot tables, etc.)
• Timberline Software Experience highly preferred
• Excellent organization and communications skills
