Senior Accountant (2 openings) at KBW Financial

A growing service provider located in Chelmsford, MA has started their search for a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Accounting, the Senior Accountant will be tasked with maintaining multiple general ledgers, financial statements, reconciling cash, fixed assets, financial reporting and budgeting. In addition, the Senior Accountant will aid in special projects and initiatives as needed. This can be 100% remote 

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform month end closing duties such as journal entries and reconciliations for various accounts including cash, prepaids, accruals and other assets/liabilities accounts 
• Prepare financial profitability reports and pricing analysis 
• Calculate and report performance metrics and compensation 
• Assist with the preparation of internal and external reporting 
• Aid external auditors with supporting schedules and supplemental information
• Monitor internal and accounting controls to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures 
• Perform ad hoc accounting and financial analysis
• Support projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• BA in Business (Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration)
• 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience 
• Sharp and detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
