POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager with a specialization in marketplace management to drive our online sales growth across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize product listings, enhance brand visibility, and maximize revenue in leading ecommerce marketplaces.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for selling products on major ecommerce marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay).
- Stay informed about marketplace trends, policies, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
- Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings to maximize visibility and conversions.
- Implement best practices for product titles, descriptions, images, and other elements to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor marketplace performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop data and analyze key metrics such as sales, conversion rates, and customer reviews to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with marketplace representatives.
- Negotiate terms, promotions, and marketing opportunities to enhance the brand's presence on each of its marketplace platforms.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A/B.S.) in a related field or industry equivalent experience
- 2-3 years in similar role is preferred
- Experience working with an ecommerce product management software, like Channel Advisor, is preferred, as well as experience with multiple ecommerce platforms and marketplace channels.
- Experience with leading ecommerce marketplaces (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of marketplace dynamics, algorithms, and seller tools.
- Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with emphasis in reporting & analytical skills
- Can-do attitude and ability to problem solve and think outside the box.
- Self-directed, disciplined, high-energy, pro-active work ethic.
- This role is designed for an experienced ecommerce professional with a background in B2C ecommerce and a deep analytical background
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have strong organizational skills and be able to meet strict deadlines.
