Job Summary
We're seeking a senior account manager in our client's Nashville office. Great client relationships are the foundation of everything we do, so you are a people person who excels at building relationships. You're an analytical thinker who can interpret client requests, anticipate client needs, and handle day-to-day business. You know your client's business and industry well and always look for opportunities to grow your client's business. Youre comfortable interacting with the client and in presentations. You're also able to manage account coordinators and work well with other departments.
This is an in-person role for our Nashville office.
Responsibilities
- Work with the account supervisor to manage assigned clients throughout the agency, acting as account lead and/or day-to-day contact for certain assigned accounts
- Identify client-business opportunities/needs, organize strategic planning process, manage the execution of a plan
- Initiate, develop, and lead projects, being involved in every step of the process
- Maintain accountability for the progress of projects, timelines, and budgets
- Participate and present in client interactions
- Coordinate deadlines and ad specifications with clients, creative team, and media team
- Manage and track competitive landscape for clients
- Be a team player with a willingness to help whenever necessary
- Capable of working directly with clients by phone or in-person meetings
- Comfortable doing presentations
- Manage account coordinators in support of account activities
- Ability to travel as needed
- Management and support of digital/interactive marketing projects
- Support account leads in any required duties
Qualifications
- Four-year Bachelors degree
- 5+ years of experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- A self-starter who is also able to collaborate with a team
- Organized with attention to detail while multi-tasking many projects
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, through emails, recaps, briefs, etc.
