SUMMARY
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for the management of all aspects of sales administration for the Perry Ellis brand and all corresponding office operational procedures, processes, and policies with a high degree of autonomy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily, monthly and quarterly assessments of financial performance against forecast, budget and LY
- Draft financial, statistical, and/or other reports as requested
- Confidently communicate with the merchant team and senior leadership of all accounts
- Manage division due dates to ensure critical deadlines are met
- Communicate with Division VPs and other Account Executives on a day-to-day basis on a variety of issues
- Provide specialized sales support and ad hoc reporting as needed for the team in multiple locations: New York, Miami
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
- Manages set up, maintenance and distribution of market and trade show schedules
- Recap and report business performance and account updates to senior management weekly
- Consistently call on accounts to better understand their business and develop strong relationships
- Seek new opportunities to grow the business
SKILLS:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, G Suite
- Ability to navigate through PEI systems along with the ability to train others on system usage
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Advanced ability to create reports from Business Objects
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Project coordination experience
- Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff in a fast paced environment, oftentimes under pressure
- Able to work with a high degree of autonomy to meet deadlines and complete projects

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years relevant Sales experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong organizational skills and math skills required
- Excellent IT skills including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of G Suite applications
"Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. For this New York based position, the expected base salary is $106,000-$145,000.
