We seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team of
high-performing sales professionals growing our Digital Buildings work
nationwide.
Are you a driven and highly motivated sales professional passionate about the
built environment? We seek a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to
join our team of high-performing sales professionals. In this role, you will
have the opportunity to significantly impact the industry by offering
consultative sales solutions to our clients in the built environment. We're
looking for someone with proven sales success or someone who comes from the
buyers' side in local government, K-12, higher education or
healthcare, or finally someone who has technical expertise and looking to
pivot into sales.
In this role, your day-to-day will consist of:
Developing and executing a sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
Building solid relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the
built environment
Delivering consultative sales solutions to meet the unique needs of each
client
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations and sharing this
knowledge with clients
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless sales
experience for our clients
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
5-7+ years of proven sales experience in Master Systems Integration,
Building Automation Systems, and Energy Efficiency with a strong track
record of achieving and exceeding targets. Or, have personal network and
purchasing experience coming from the buyers' side within local
government, K-12, higher education or healthcare.
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management or
equivalent business experience required.
Knowledge of building infrastructure systems, facility management, and
critical facilities such as data centers required.
Knowledge of financial acumen required.
A deep understanding of the built environment and the challenges faced by our
clients
Strong consultative sales skills and the ability to build relationships and
trust with key stakeholders
The ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to
non-technical clients
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
A self-starter mentality with a drive to continuously learn and grow

The pay range for this position is $106,650 - $168,863 per year;
however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge,
skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A
