About the Job
Senior 3D Designer - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Design footwear by driving digital creation from ideation to manufacturing through all design phases; craft conceptual prototypes and proficiency in preparing 3D assets for prototyping; use digital tools and 3D modeling to enable the creation of innovative concepts and designs that reflect Nike's design philosophy; build and present assets that communicate the design's intent to a variety of stakeholders; and collaborate with other members of the design team including product, materials, and computations designers. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Architecture, Design, Industrial Design, Architectural Design, or Product Design and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a designer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
+ Architectural modelling including design concept competition work, developed detailed design and construction
+ Modelling tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup and Rhino
+ NURBS and Parametric Modelling process using Rhinoceros 3D and Grasshopper
+ Creative Design directing high end marketing campaign projects for premium brands using Adobe Creative CloudSuite
+ Modelling still renders and motion design/ interaction, including animations and transitions including Cinema4D and FX motion simulation tools in Houdini
+ Rendering visualization (motion and still) using rendering tools such as Redshift, Vray and Unreal for lighting, camera movement and tracking
+ 2D/ 3D Manufacturing techniques including 3D Printing, CNC Milling and Lasercutting
