About the Job
Nine Line Apparel is looking for an experienced SEM & SEO Specialist who will enhance our online presence and continue to drive our digital marketing success. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and implementing our search engine marketing strategies to increase our online visibility, drive traffic, and enhance online user engagement. He/she will be responsible for managing PPC campaigns, optimizing our SEO efforts, analyzing data and building reports that inform strategic decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Monitor and analyze SEO and PPC campaign performance using Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar tools, and adjust strategies as needed.
● Collaborate with other team members to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation and website architecture.
● Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in SEO and PPC, including algorithm updates, to adjust strategies accordingly.
● Manage budgets for paid search campaigns, ensuring optimal use of funds for maximum ROI.
● Generate reports on campaign performance, insights and recommendations for improvement.
● Continuously obtain high quality backlinks using white-hat techniques.
● Implement projects/strategies to drive online traffic to the company's website, tracking conversion rates and rankings as well as other KPIs, and work to make improvements using a range of techniques, SEO, and web best practices.
● Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data, as well as develop online marketing concepts and strategies in order to proactively anticipate and prepare for emerging needs.
● Perform detailed data monitoring and effectively interpret, analyze and report ongoing SEO efforts to other stakeholders.
● Research, backwards-analyze and gain full understanding of the competitive landscape in the apparel industry with the goal to enhance the company’s standing and always be one step ahead of the competition.
● Ability to spot technical issues with site performance and search engine crawls and provide easy-to-understand analysis and recommendations to improve SEO efforts ensuring that traffic and ROI goals are met or exceeded.
● Implement SEO best practices and develop initiatives, such as link building, on-site technical audits, keyword research and analytics.
Minimum Qualifications
● 3-5 years of proven experience in Search Engine Marketing, including SEO and PPC campaign management
● Experience in building inbound organic search traffic
● An up to date, working knowledge of current, past and projected trends in the SEO industry
● Experience with website analysis and various analytical and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Trends, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
● Knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS and basic web structure
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
● Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and with accuracy and efficiency
● Ability to adapt and learn quickly, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Must be flexible and willing to pivot to keep pace with evolving strategies
● Must be self-sufficient, self-motivated, and easily self-managed
● Must possess an innovative mindset, with strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
● Excellent writing skills (think seo-optimized product descriptions, blog posts, press releases)
● Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
