- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other educational team members to facilitate students' academic and social-emotional growth.
- Recording and tracking student progress meticulously, maintaining precise records and preparing detailed reports for IEP meetings and administrative needs.
- Supporting the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies and devices for students with complex communication needs.
- Engaging in professional development opportunities to enhance skills continually and stay updated with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements
- ASHA certification preferred
- PEL certification required before the beginning of the assignment
- Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology is required
- Must hold an active Illinois state license to practice Speech Language Pathology
