Kaimetrix is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Security Specialist to support the US Army at Fort Detrick, MD. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient task management and seamless coordination among teams and stakeholders.
This position requires a highly organized individual with extensive experience in security operations and procedures. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of operations at Fort Detrick, providing support to teams on-site and occasional assistance to customers in the Washington D.C. metro area.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in various security disciplines, including Personnel, Information, Industrial, and Physical Security, as well as Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection.
- Conduct Contractor Vetting Packet Review/Processing.
- Initiate investigations through the Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP).
- Schedule and process fingerprinting requests.
- Maintain documentation and records of printing requests.
- Review and process 25-2 and 2875 forms.
- Handle Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS) Renewal Review/Processing.
- Review contracts to determine eligibility for TASS Renewal.
- Conduct in/out processing for military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
- Manage Read-On/Debrief documentation for cleared personnel.
- Own/Create subjects in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
- Grant appropriate access per Position Description (PD)/Military Occupational Specialty (MOS).
- Remove subjects from the system as needed.
- Update subject information as required.
- Draft Clearance Verification Memos.
- Maintain subject records.
- Update current/out-processed personnel records.
- Conduct periodic re-investigations.
- Process individuals for Continuous Enrollment based on their previous CE/Investigation date and PD/MOS requirements.
- Process Visit Authorization Requests.
- Update the current Visit Authorization Request (VAR) Roster.
- Set up and put away SIPR terminals.
- Perform Daily Protective Distribution System (PDS) Inspections.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in a related field
