Security Specialist - Brentwood Place One

Schedule: (We have several shifts open for mornings, evenings or overnights and weekends.

Security Personnel are responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The uniformed specialist will perform foot patrols of campus to monitor for any irregularities, enforce regulations, and report those findings. [BW2]

QUALIFICATIONS

• Highschool Diploma or equivalency preferred but not required.

• 2+ years of experience in the security sector preferred but not required.

• Must possess a current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security Officer’s license.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

• Must have a professional demeanor in both communication and physical appearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain visibility through actively patrolling the facility.

• Manage the security guard post, access control, and visitor sign in process.

• Participates in Emergency Preparedness Drills.

• Document all theft, safety, health hazards, accidents or incidents in your Daily Activity Report.

• Provide escorts to both the tenants, visitors, contractors or direct law enforcement or other agencies.

• May be required to stand for long periods of time.

• Comfortable in radio transmissions and relaying information.
