About the Job
The Security Sales Consultant is responsible for building and growing new business as well as maintaining and cultivating an existing client base. This is a full-time position with base pay plus commission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and close core business sales opportunities for burglar alarms, cameras, access control, and fire alarm systems. RMR sales focus.
- Meet sales quotas.
- Complete required sales paperwork.
- Utilize lead tracking software (CRM).
- Foster existing and new customer relationships to generate additional sales.
- Develop new prospects and opportunities. Self-generate opportunities.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Previous sales experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
- Complete sales prescreening questionnaire.
- Obtain IL PERC card, and pass a background investigation.
