Security Receptionist at Constellis

POSITION SUMMARY

Applicant must have demonstrated the ability to communicate and interact effectively with senior Government officials, foreign dignitaries, business leaders, and the general public.

LOCATION ASSIGNED:

Germantown, MD and Forrestal Building, Washington, DC or Cheltenham, MD 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet guests as they arrive inside the building
• Provide professional communication on the phone, electronic mail, and in-person
• Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
• Read and enter identifiable information into software system
• Operate computer, scanner, and printer
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
• Other duties as assigned
• Applicant must possess a high school diploma, or its state recognized equivalent

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• One year experience/education in the business, clerical field
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suites
• Ability to follow directions carefully and precisely
• Applicant must possess a high school diploma or its state recognized equivalent
• Clearance: At a minimum, the individual proposed must possess a DOE (Q) security clearance or must meet the eligibility requirements that will reasonably ensure a DOE (Q) clearance is obtained. 

TRAINING

Applicant must complete training on the visitor access database procedure and complete a course in professional interaction.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
