Job Opportunity: Embedded Security Project Manager
Location: Boston, MA
Are you passionate about enhancing corporate security functions and driving impactful change? We are currently seeking an experienced Embedded Security Project Manager to join our team, dedicated to supporting a Fortune 500 client.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead multiple security projects concurrently, collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups to ensure successful outcomes.
Engage in various aspects of corporate security, encompassing global security operations, intelligence, travel security, physical security, and business resilience.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance existing services and operations.
Identify, analyze, prioritize, and mitigate risks, staying attuned to the global geopolitical landscape to proactively enhance corporate travel and safety measures.
Develop and standardize workflows, key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, documentation, and training materials.
Prepare situational awareness reports and deliver security briefings to relevant parties.
Manage global incident response and notification processes, leveraging emergency mass notification systems as needed.
Conduct real-time travel monitoring and risk assessments, coordinating assistance through vendor resources.
Monitor social media channels for brand protection and support supply chain security efforts, including product tracking.
Develop, implement, and oversee Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) programs, providing necessary training to analysts and conducting drills to maintain peak performance.
Provide crisis management support and demonstrate proficiency in Business Continuity principles.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years in a relevant security role, with international experience or a demonstrated interest in global affairs.
Experience in people management or the ability to step into a managerial role effectively.
Preferred experience in a GSOC environment within the Biotech industry.
Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple critical projects at a fast pace.
Ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a trusted team leader.
Proficiency with various access control platforms, video management systems, and incident management applications/software.
Ability to operate with urgency during time-critical incidents, providing timely updates as required.
