Your Impact:
The Edge Security Program Coordinator will be responsible for documenting the physical security program for the client’s data centers.
The Global Program Coordinator is responsible for providing direct support to the Access Control Manager to ensure implementation and compliance with client physical and electronic access control policy as well as visitor management system.
The Security Program Coordinator is assigned workflows related to the oversight, audit, and compliance of internal access tools to ensure all electronic access is
programmed according to employee status to include the visitor management program. This position creates and produces required and requested reports as needed and provide training on all appropriate access tools to end users. Will effectively decipher and write plans and manuals related to the safety, security and protection of data center assets.
They will interface with Global Security Key Stakeholders to plan and prioritize activities.
Qualifications:
Responsibilities Include But Are Not limited To:
Develop a strong understanding of Client's Access Control Policies/Procedures, Vendor Onboarding processes and access management resources
- Work directly with onsite teams to help navigate access management challenges based on existing policies and procedures
- Work with DC Access Control Manager to troubleshoot access management challenges
- Attend applicable client meetings to provide input on access control policies/procedures
- Host site level access management training
- Maintain a global level access management feedback workplace page
- Support and coordinate access control provisioning process for new sites; review door groups/clearances with space owners to ensure accuracy
Train DC leaders and GSDC staff on access to include:
- How to use the tools (Access Manager, VMS, VWOP)
- How to use the dashboards associated with each tool
- Training on the access, visitor, vendor policies
- Periodic reviews of all written policies, procedures, processes with the Access Control Program Manager and update with any changes
- Ensure the team is tracking and maintaining security reports to ensure that all records are up to date and in compliance
- Keep all wiki's up to date, ensure links are valid, review and update when necessary
- Support quarterly audit of global approver lists
- Support Access Control Program Manager with communications outlining changes to policies, process via groups, emails, meetings, training classes
- Update wikis with Matrix changes
- DC Access Validations
- Track user activity via the validation dashboard to ensure compliance and escalate lapses
- Follow up with leaders from each DC who provide validations to ensure quarterly access validations are completeProvide support to the DC Access Control Manager to ensure Leased DC access validations are completed
- Monthly via Dropbox, and quarterly via tasks, identifying any potential incomplete validations and escalate as necessary
- Act as back up and scribe to the DC Access Control Manager to collect access tooling feedback from stakeholders and provide necessary support during access tooling pilots to potentially include collecting feedback from DCs and requests for tool improvement

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of two years previous security supervision or leadership experience required in a security setting
Professional demeanor and appearance
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug testing)
