Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Security Operations Engineer. This role focus on the Netskope ZTNA platform.
The candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and managing security policies to ensure the protection of data, compliance with regulations, and prevention of security threats. The candidate will closely work with security teams, network engineers, and application administrators to implement and enforce policies that align with the organization’s security strategy and business goals.
As a Security Operations Engineer, you will be-
- Responsible for configuring security policies on the Netskope ZTNA platform.
- Responsible for ensuring the integrity of client IT infrastructures.
- Responsible to tune and enable polices, features and enhancements as required in response to Security Incidents and general enhancements requested by the client.
- Responsible for troubleshooting the potential impact of security tooling on business applications as required.
- Responsible for responding and following core IT Service Management Principles.
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance (DoD Secret).
- 3-6 years of experience working in SOC environment as Security Engineering Specialist.
- Experience supporting a large global enterprise environment.
- Experience with Netskope (or competitor) implementation.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and JavaScript
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of Netskope (or competitor) implementation
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of IP protocols and ports.
- An understanding of incident response methodologies and technologies.
- Familiar with key security models and regulations such as ISO 2700X, SOX, CMMC, and PCI
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Aptitude to learn new technologies
- Customer service including the resolution of customer escalations, incident handling, and response.
Nice to have skills/qualifications:
- Cloud security experience.
- Programming and/or scripting language experience (C, .NET, Python, Perl, etc).
- Previous experience in Unix/Linux and the editor vi.
- Technical certifications considered an asset are: CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GPEN, GCCF, CISA, CWSP, CCSP, CCNP, MSCE or, other relevant certification in vulnerability analysis, ethnical hacking techniques or penetration testing.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $100,000- 120,000.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
