Security Officer - AHS Vista LLC

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This position involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, responding to security incidents, and enforcing security protocols. The Security Officer serves as a visible deterrent to criminal activity, provides assistance to individuals on the premises, and ensures the safety of people and property.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, including both interior and exterior locations, to monitor for any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) and report any abnormalities or incidents observed during the monitoring process.
• Ensure that all entrances and exits are secured, including doors, windows, and gates.
• Enforce access control procedures, ensuring that only authorized personnel or visitors are allowed access to restricted areas.
• Check IDs, badges, or credentials of individuals entering the premises, verifying that they are authorized to be on site.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or disturbances, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, or unauthorized activities.
• Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures, including monitoring for violations of facility rules, smoking, or parking restrictions.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with security technology (e.g., CCTV, alarm systems, access control) is preferred.
