As a per diem/float security officer, you will be offered shifts at the Wang, Colonial and Shubert Theaters in Boston as well as other Boston events as they become available.
These weekend assignments are generally 4 hours in duration (i.e., 11-3 and/or 6-10.)
Tarian uniform (polo, jacket ) provided at no cost with your own black pants and black footwear.
There is no parking at this location so public transportation is recommended.
Must reside in and around the Boston area
Duties include:
- Access Control
- Bag Screening.
- Crowd Management.
- Venue Policy Enforcement
Education & Experience:
- Completed High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian company driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to work well in a team and with the public.
- Must have good judgment, common sense, and the ability to act quickly in an emergency.
- Reliability, dependability, and punctuality.
- Fluency in English, strong verbal skills, and ability to communicate clearly.
