Our client is seeking a highly skilled Security Manager to provide expert guidance and support for classified programs within the Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Defense (DoD). This position requires a seasoned security professional with strong critical thinking abilities, independence, and a deep understanding of security operations and compliance regulations. The ideal candidate will excel in navigating federal laws, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and the NISPOM Rule while delivering tailored solutions to meet diverse security needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert security support to clients, ensuring compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), ICDs, and other relevant regulations.
- Manage and process security clearances and access requests through systems such as NISS, DISS (NBIS), and Talon.
- Serve as the Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO), ensuring compliance with personnel security reporting requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal laws, executive orders, and IC directives governing security practices.
- Provide on-site support for clients, with extensive travel throughout the D.C. Metro area and occasional domestic travel.
- Communicate effectively with diverse teams and deliver high-quality solutions independently.
Required Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Active U.S. Top Secret clearance with SCI Access Eligibility.
- Polygraph: Current CI Polygraph completed within the last 5 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years as an FSO or CPSO in a classified environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Certification: Current FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities.
- Proficiency with NISS, DISS (NBIS), and Talon systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Professional appearance and capability to perform tasks without physical or medical limitations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications:
- NCMS ISP® Certification.
- Current CSSO Certification.
- COMSEC Account Manager Certification.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 annually.
