About the Job
AFO is looking for a Full-time Security Officer to work in Reston VA. This position requires current TS/SCI or current TS with the ability to obtain a SCI endorsed clearance. The schedule is Monday thru Friday 0600-1400.

Responsibilities
+ Required to understand and operate the access control system.
+ Required to authenticate Common Access Cards.
+ Make CAC badges.
+ Meets and escorts DTRA site visitors as needed.
+ Assists visitors with contacting their government points of contact.
+ May be asked required to provide directions to visitors.
+ Communicates clearly orally with visitors as required.
Qualifications
+ Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
+ May be required to move between facility buildings.
+ Must be able to function in all types of weather environments.
+ Always be alert and situationally awareness while on duty.
+ Perform all necessary physical duties without assistance.
+ Must be able to take general direction, both oral and written.
+ High School diploma (or Equivalent).
+ One year of general work experience, dealing with the public.
+ Must have a TS/SCI with Eligibility Clearance.
