Blackwell is currently seeking a Security Guard to work out of the Waples Mill, VA area.
Job Description:To provide direct support to government facilities for the visitor control center as well as provide personnel security program support. The contractor shall be familiar with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD)- 705 and Physical Security Standards for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Program Security Specialist (PSS) and Government Special Security Officer (SSO) for daily Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) and SCIF activities.
- Review Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) for all Government/contractor facilities requiring accreditation/ modification and co-use agreements.
- Monitor and make recommendations concerning alarms, cameras, and building access.
- Provide entry of cleared personnel into alarm panel and issue personal identification numbers (PINs).
- Provide semi-annual inspections of equipment, including the Intrusion Detection System (IDS), along with self-inspections.
- Assist with day-to-day security requirements, such as:
- Security training
- Security policy and procedures
- SCIF/Automated Information Systems (AIS) accreditations and/or modifications
- Staff assistance visits, inspections, badging and self-inspections
- Updates to Security manuals
- Updates to Defense Department (DD) Form 254s
- Preparation of Co-use agreement (CUAs) and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
- Document control and accountability, including couriering documentation
- Public release of information
- CDM badges and parking permits
- Prepare and pass outgoing collateral visits and SCI permanent (PERM) certifications. Receive and enter into the database all incoming visits and PERM certifications and FWF location provide incoming visitor information to Guard Force at gate and to visitor control email group at end of each work day.
- Receive, control, and account for all incoming/outgoing SCI packages/materials via courier (i.e., documents, slides, hardware and media)
- Assist with incoming and outgoing SCI receipts, tracer actions, copying, and faxing.
- Escorting, semi-annual alarm testing, self-inspections, and data entry. Shall be familiar with security manuals, security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and files maintenance in order to answer security questions and inquiries.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Less than a High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Must possess a current Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
