Security Director of Operations - Marksman Security

Marksman Security Corporation is now seeking a Director of Operations!

The Director of Operations will oversee security personnel, ensuring the sites are properly staffed and officers are trained and motivated. The Director of Operations will also work closely with the client contacts to achieve goals and objectives set forth by Marksman Security and the association.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in Corrections, Law Enforcement, Military Security, Account Management

 experience and/or other related fields.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with all customers (internal and external) in a professional demeanor
• Foster client relationships through continuous communication and support
• Ensure site staff are performing all assigned duties including but not limited to time sheets, daily logs, activity and incident reports
• Address and rectify all employee relation and payroll concerns in a timely manner
• Train officers/ Supervisors to ensure operational performance and coverage is met
• Utilize approved security equipment (CCTV, radios, computers/tablets etc.)
• Effectively communicate all pertinent information to team in a timely manner
• Manage security personnel including but not limited to scheduling, counseling and or disciplinary actions when necessary 
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance (uniform and equipment)
• Other duties to be determined by management

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelors degree preferred
• Minimum of three years previous security supervision or leadership experience, police or military
• Flexible/on- call schedule availability
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Attentive to detail
• Must be able to multi task in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
