At United Wholesale Mortgage we are looking for the best people. In this position, the candidate will play a key role in administering programs for our responsive and capable Information Security team. We have experienced explosive growth as a leader in the Financial Services industry, and we are looking for an established Information Security professional to administer and maintain critical components of our Information Security program.
The Security Administrator will report directly to and support the Information Security Team Lead, as well as the Chief Information Security Officer, to provide the highest quality information assurance program to our business teams and customers. The Security Administrator will manage and sustain security processes and programs, including the ongoing assessment and compliance to required security guidelines and best practices across the enterprise computing environment.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in information security and a proven ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Administer security processes, guide security efforts, and validate audit controls in an advanced technology environment
- Support the programs and strategy developed by Security Leadership in accordance with the security roadmap and principles
- Participate in the development, administration, and maintenance phases of security programs, projects, and initiatives
- Support Risk Assessments, Penetration Tests, Security Awareness Program, Due Diligence, Vendor Assessments, and Audit
- Research security trends, compliance and regulatory updates, and security frameworks in support of a robust security program
- Directly support a range of security disciplines and domains, including security awareness, compliance, regulatory, third party security, risk and others
- Perform other essential duties as assigned
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology Administration roles of increasing responsibility, resulting in strong familiarity with security concepts and disciplines
- Knowledge of standard security processes, procedures, and frameworks including NIST, ISO, SOC II, COBIT, FAIR
- Strong ability to understand security concepts and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, from Senior Leadership to individual team members
- Excellent written communication skills, along with outstanding analytic, problem solving, content creation, and decision-making skills
- Proven organizational skills, including managing multiple concurrent tasks, particularly within the boundaries of compliance and regulatory program requirements
- Ability to work with teams to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Degree in a relevant field preferred or an equivalent amount of post-secondary education and experience
- A+, Security+, Network+ or other pertinent industry-recognized certifications
- Experience administering Security programs, processes, and solutions
- Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry
