Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret SAP Project Manager (MM) in support of one of are large federal clients! This candidate will be the start of a new SAP solutions architect team that is responsible for supporting, gathering and building requirements slated to enhance/replace current legacy systems that will contribute to the modernization of Navy ship and submarine maintenance operations across a global platform. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:
Lead the comprehensive project management for implementing the SAP MM module within the programs ecosystem.
Develop and implement a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to brief stakeholders on.
Work with stakeholders from various Navy facilities (NSY, IMF, RMC, SRF, FDRMC) to gather and analyze requirements for the new MM module.
Ensure a smooth data migration and system transition by coordinating with the legacy system team.
Oversee the SAP implementation team, including both internal resources and external consultants.
Oversee the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of the SAP MM module, ensuring its integration with other program applications and existing SAP modules.
Develop and implement strategies for change management and training to facilitate user adoption across over 45,000 u .
Ensure optimal utilization of the project budget and resources, adhering to financial constraints.
Report project progress, risks, and issues to Naval leadership and key stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with DoD/Navy cybersecurity requirements and follow SAP best practices throughout the implementation.
Coordinate with the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team to establish ongoing support processes for the new MM module.
Compensation:
$85/hr. to $93.75/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & ExperienceBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
5-7 years of experience with SAP MM (Materials Management) with a focus on Materials Management module implementation
5-7 years of SAP project/program management experience with a focus in large-scale IT environments
Experience working within a hybrid framework inclusive of SAFe agile/waterfall
High level experience working with government stakeholders/clients in a DoD environment
High level experience with problem solving/risk mitigation
Ability to travel at least 4 times a year (once a quarter)
PMP Certification
Active DoD Security Clearance
Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceSAFe Agile certification
Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Navy ERP experience
Former Navy experience
