A healthcare startup is looking for an SEC Reporting Manager to join their team due to a recent internal promotion. In this role, the SEC Reporting Manager will be responsible for 10K and 10Q reporting and technical accounting around inventory, COGS, intercompany, revenue recognition, debt, equity, and other technical areas. What do you need for this SEC Reporting Manager role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5-8 years of public accounting, financial reporting, and/or SEC reporting experience
- MUST be an active CPA
- Advanced Excel
- Prepare 10Q, 10K, and 8K for SEC filing
- Stay on top of new accounting standards, and update or create new accounting policies as needed
- Technical accounting research and prepare memos
- Track contracts and licenses
- XBRL reporting
- Assist with month-end close
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit
- MD&A reporting
- Management analysis and reports on an as-needed basis
- Reports to a great mentor

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
