Seasonal Security Officer- Part Time - Tarian

Seasonal Unarmed Security Guard (Plymouth, Mashpee, Hyannis, Bridgewater areas)

Compensation:$20-$25/hr depending on assignment

Our Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety in various commercial environments, and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities onsite. 

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Foot patrol of premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Vehicle patrols (must be 21+ per Fleet Management Program) on assigned sites.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to work well in a team and with the public.
• Must have good judgment, common sense, and the ability to act quickly in an emergency.
• Reliability, dependability, and punctuality.
• Fluency in English, strong verbal skills, and ability to communicate clearly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Completed High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 21+ 

Desired Qualification of the Security Officer:

• Previous work experience with the public in a service setting
