Seasonal Pet Care Boarding Technician - Rover Oaks Pet Resort

ROVER OAKS PET RESORT is the premier pet resort in Houston and Katy for boarding, training, daycare and grooming. Our Katy location near Katy Mills Mall is seeking Seasonal Pet Care Technicians to help in our dog and cat boarding operations and provide exceptional care of the pets. We are hiring for November through January, with the possibility of a permanent position after the holidays depending on our staffing needs at that time.  

This position will require working weekends and holidays, and you must be available to work on November 28, December 24, and December 25.

• Must be comfortable being around cats and dogs of all sizes and physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and to lift up to 60 lbs. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure each pet is treated with respect and dignity
• Engage in play activities with pets including: fetch, exercise walks, story times, chase, follow the leader, recall and basic obedience games, etc.
• Alert supervisors to any changes in pet behavior or demeanor
• Follow all standards of safety with regards to handling pets
• Ensure pets feel at home and loved by providing attention and cuddles whenever possible.
