Seasonal Ice Rink Installer

Rink Management Services is seeking an experienced ice rink installer.  This position is seasonal which can develop into long-term work.

Ideal Candidate:

• Knowledge of plumbing systems
• Knowledge of general HVAC systems
• Understanding refrigeration systems
• Electrical knowledge helpful
• Must be mechanically inclined. Proficient ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to drive heavy equipment, including forklift
• Able to proficiently operate a Zamboni
• Experienced in ice making and ice painting
• Certified Ice Tech preferred
• Ability to properly supervise manual labor crew
• Experience in facility maintenance and operations
• Performs general maintenance tasks at facility including preventative maintenance
• Implements and practices safety measures with tools, equipment and facility
• Must represent RMSC in a professional manner
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work extremely long hours and in extreme weather conditions
• Must be able to travel for 5-8 weeks, possibly more
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Executes policies and procedures professionally and accurately
• Responsible for completing daily and weekly reports
• Needs to work independently and execute initiative
• Performs any other related or similar duty as assigned

Work is performed in several settings:

• An office environment
• A recreational facility
• Working indoors and outdoors
• Facilities which include working on ice

This position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
