About the Job
The Fishers Island Club is open seasonally from mid May through October. During the shoulder season, we are open for dining business only on weekends. During the week we are setting up for the peak season as well as hosting golf tournaments. During peak season (Mid June through Labor Day), the Club is in operation 7 days a week. The golf course is open 7 days a week for the complete season. There are employment opportunities for most time frames, however all employees must be able to stay through Labor Day weekend. Average hours per week are 40 - 50.

*Housing is provided free of charge however you will be subject to income taxes on the assessed value of the benefit. It is not considered part of your compensation, but it is subject to tax reporting. Generally that is about $15.00 per week. When you file your taxes at the end of the year you have a chance to get most of the monies back depending on year-end earnings.
*Meals are provided free of charge. Lunch and dinner are served daily (except Mondays).
*Transportation is provided to and from work (the housing is approx. 3 1/2 miles from the club).
*If you complete the season, you will be eligible for consideration under our Discretionary Bonus Program. Eligible employees are considered for a bonus based on a number of factors including hours worked, position, performance, appearance, attitude and completion of the season.
*We hire staff from all over the world, as well as from the United States, and believe we can all learn from one another. We are looking for employees with some food and beverage experience, but are willing to train anyone with the desire to learn.
