PAY RATE: $35/hour

Essential Functions:
Ensure proper completion and documentation of administrative duties as they relate to camper accommodations and modifications
Take lead in coordinating and implementing strategy plans for campers who would benefit from accommodations and modifications
Lead a staff training as it relates to understanding and supporting campers with a range of needs
Support Instructors and Junior Instructors during camp with camper accommodations and modifications
In partnership with other camp staff, communicate with camper grownups as necessary
Qualifications:
Obtained a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in social work, education, child development, or other relevant course of study
Proven expertise in the areas of trauma-informed practices, neurodiversity, behavior modification, and special education
Experience working with children with diverse needs, abilities, and interests
Effective communicator and strong interpersonal skills: helpful, calm, friendly demeanor
Ability to prioritize and to work both collaboratively and independently
Experience in collaborative, interdisciplinary, place-based education is preferred
Strong organizational abilities with extreme attention to detail
The ideal candidate will have an interest in the intersections of art, nature, and science
Other Requirements:
A satisfactory criminal background check (CORI and SORI)
Able and willing to work across a 30-acre site both indoors and outside in all types of weather
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
