Job Description
Symbotic is looking for people who thrive in a fast paced, solutions oriented, and creative environments. The Technical Scrum master will play a hands-on role in managing processes for a robotics team to deliver capabilities to their platforms. The qualified candidate will play a hands-on role in improving the process through agile methodologies and intuition. We are looking for people who thrive in a creative and collaborative environment.What you will be doing:Ensure that the team is fully functional and productive. Enable close cooperation amongst team members.Shield the team from external interferences.Ensure that the process is followed, including managing all processes the team participates in.Work to tune and improve the processes used by the team.Report and communicate the progress of the development process to ensure transparencyCommunicate frequently with Product and Development OwnersDemonstrate a passion for building high quality software, solving problems, and facing new challenges. Be a proactive communicator who enjoys working closely with technical peers.Work with other departments to define scope of work, performance specifications, system installation/testing/commissioning plansHelp plan and prioritize a variety of projects for a cross-functional teamActing as an Agile Coach for the rest of the organization.Travel ~10%
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in a related engineering discipline (ie. Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, etc.).At least 2 years' experience in a Scrum Master role or experience leading a scrum. Project/development management experience leading parallel projects. Experience with robotics or electro-mechanical systems a plusExperience working with project management tools, specifically JiraTeam oriented, get-the-job-done, positive attitude
