Required Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master. • Prior experience within Patient Support Services (PSP), ideally within the life sciences or healthcare industry. • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices, with ability to lead and facilitate Scrum activities. • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, organization, and facilitation skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills and Qualifications • Experience (or exposure) to projects involving Salesforce, Integrations, and Data and Analytics is preferred. • Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). • SAFe certification and Kanban certification would be a plus. • Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira, ServiceNow and Smartsheet. • Familiarity with technology solution assessments and RFP / RFI best practices for new solutions, pilots, proofs of concept, etc
JOB DESCRIPTION
Agile Scrum master consultant to support ongoing and future technology initiatives within the Business Information Systems (BIS) Patient Engagement / Experience team. As a Scrum master, the consultant will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes enabling collaborative and efficient delivery of BIS Patient Engagement / Experience projects based on Scrum best practices. The consultant will work closely with BIS Patient Engagement / Experience Lead, Operations Management Lead, and Patient Engagement Business Analyst to ensure work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality across the BIS Patient Engagement / Experience portfolio.
Role Objectives • Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within BIS Patient Engagement / Experience • Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices. • Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products. • Work across teams to prioritize and execute product backlog and other requirements. Key Activities • Facilitate Scrum activities, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. • Identify and troubleshoot obstacles hindering the team's progress and product delivery. • Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders, including senior leadership and Portfolio Management. • Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products / solutions on schedule and costs. • Ensure team follows Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles. • Product backlog management, schedule and RAID management, resource capacity and cross-functional coordination and facilitation. • Coordinate with vendors for system demos, pilots, new solution assessments, etc. as needed
