Job Description:
Ensures the success of CoBank's business outcomes and priorities. Supports multiple scrum teams and acts as a buffer between the scrum teams and their product owner to ensure the goals of the sprint are effectively executed and accomplished. Champions the value that their scrum teams add to the business and advocates for processes that encourages crossfunctional collaboration.
Essential Functions:1. Assists with Agile process questions, clearing blockers, reinforcing transparency, and encouraging self-organization
2. Facilitate the identification of relevant metrics and define the measurement system
3. Cultivates an Agile mindset in problem solving and applying system thinking to uncover bottlenecks
4. Encourages engagement between teams and stakeholders
5. Ensures that the project risks raised are escalated and highlighted appropriately
6. Facilitates managers to partner with business stakeholders and make more strategic decisions
7. Ensures the team understands agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
8. Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
9. Monitors scrum team progress and performance to encourage team improvements.
10. Assisting the Product Owner with preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders
11. Provides and decodes input into Agile governing policies in view of the organization's principles to support Agile-based approaches
12. Maintains Platform-wide awareness and focus to assist with resource allocation and ensuring collaboration
13. Represents platform in organization-wide scrum of scrums and can present platform concepts to other project teams
14. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
3 years of experience serving as Scrum Master, required
3 years of experience in Banking, Financial or other highly regulated industry, required
Experience with modern software engineering techniques such as Continuous Integration, build, deliver, test-driven development and other automated acceptance testing techniques
Analyzing the situation and proposing practical solutions.
Consistent organizational skills.
Efficiently planning your day, meetings, and tasks to adhere to your schedule.
Novices grasp the concept of CI but lack depth.
Working knowledge of setting up CI pipelines or understanding best practices.
Ability to focus on build and test automation.
Knowledge of CI implementations.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $86,961 - $120,919. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
