Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
Proven ability to lead Scrum teams for complex deliveries
Facilitation of all the teams meetings and ceremonies using SAFe Framework
Excellent communication, collaboration and a self-starter.
Removes roadblocks, many of which will be beyond the teams authority or will require support from other teams
Continuous improvement mindset and highlights opportunities to improve efficiency of scrum teams
Ability to coaches and mentor the team on agile ways of working
Management of dependencies internal and external to scrum team
Raises risks and blockers when necessary to RTE and appropriate team members/leadership
Experience working closely with PO to understand and align on backlog priorities
Experience with calculating team capacity, analyzing and adjusting learnings from previous sprints
Experience managing more than one scrum team (2 or more)
Extensive understanding of agile methodology, techniques, frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban) and agile tools (such as Jira and Confluence). Participated in a PI event.
Communicative and social -- excellent interpersonal and group facilitation skills including the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and personality types
Assertive - must be able to ensure agile and scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, and not afraid to be a voice of reason and authority
Willing and able to hold the team accountable to its vision and values
Situationally Aware -- must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to team and to management, where appropriate
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate on issues of strategy, risk and process
Demonstrate an engineering mindset and awareness of DevSecOps
5+ years experience as a Scrum Master with dedicated agile teams using scrum/SAFe
Relevant undergraduate BA, BS degree in IT or Business or equivalent experience
Certified Scrum Master preferred
