Scientist-mAb Drug Discovery at Piper Companies

Piper Companies is seeking a Scientist-mAB Drug Discovery to join a biopharmaceutical company located in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities of the Scientist include:

• Complete research on neurological disorders for the drug discovery program
• Work on different types of research that include: gene cloning, plasmid preparation, antibody expression and purification, antibody QC using PAGE and HPLC
• Complete your research by using single B cell sorting/cloning, phage and or yeast library construction and screening
• Complete antibody characterization using different methods (ELISA, Flow Cytometry, ETC.)
• Prepare and submit all data that was collected throughout your research

Qualifications for the Scientist include:

• Must have a PhD degree
• Need to have experience with antibody discovery platforms, affinity measurements, and characterizations
• Would like experience with Drug Discovery, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, HPLC, Gene Cloning, Octet

Compensation for the Scientist include:

• Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 annually *Depending on experience*
• Full Benefits: Employer-Paid Health, Dental, and Vision, 401K
