Position Details:
Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical Company in Malvern, PA is currently looking for a Biology Lab Operations Specialist to join their expanding team.
Job Title: Biology Lab Operations Specialist / Equipment Maintenance / Pharma Industry
Duration: 12 months contract, extendable up to 24 months
Location: Malvern, PA
Note:
The client has the right-to-hire you as a permanent employee at any time during or after the end of the contract.

Job Description:
Title is more Lab Operations Specialist
Bachelors Degree required
Will be managing equipment (not Analytical testing)
Lab Operations of equipment
Must have GMP exp
Manufacturing exp in a Pharma bkg
Manage equipment list
Schedule maintenance appointments
Must be organized and work well with other people
Should have exp in ELISA, FRET, or PSR (at least 1 of these)
Knowledge of aseptic/cell culture techniques
Exp with Bioassays
Must have exp with MS Office Suite
Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering or related subject area, with a minimum of 2 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required, or a Master's degree with 1 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required.
Familiar with various aspects of lab operation activities including instrument preventive maintenance, calibration and qualification; sample management, sample storage shipping logistics; freezer chamber management; lab safety and lab tidiness, etc.
Be able to closely track multiple lab operation activities in an organized and timely manner to ensure excellent execution
Be able to coordinate with internal and external service teams, service providers, Quality, and scientists to ensure lab operation activities are followed through and completed well.
Great verbal communication skills are required.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral, and the ability to work in a cross-functional customer focused environment is required.
Experience with a minimum of two of the following techniques is required ELISA, FRET, qPCR, cell culture and aseptic technique, cell-based potency assays, flow cytometry or plate based biochemical assays impurity, HCP.
Experience of working in a cGMP environment is required.
Experience with electronic laboratory notebook is preferred.
Ability to work and drive lab operation activities with limited guidance to plan and execute.
